- White Sweetclover (Melilotus Alba)
- Poor Man’s Lucernce (Sericea Lespedeza)
- Progardes (Desmanthus)
- Crown Vetch (Coronilla Varia)
Benefits of mixture:
- This legume mixture is formulated to be used either on its own or with subtropical grass mixtures.
- All the components in this mixture are free of prussic acid/hydrogen cyanide, and ensures good quality, high protein grazing.
- The White Sweetclover and the Poor Man’s Lucernce in this mixture contain tannins that can apply internal parasite control in your herd.
- All four of these crops have tap root systems, and are consequently drought resistant.
Sowing density:
- With irrigation: 12-15kg/ha
- Dryland: 8-10kg/ha
- With grass mixture: 3-5kg/ha
Planting time:
- October to March
